How do I obtain a copy of a police or crash report?
The records section is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..
To assist in obtaining a police report or crash report, please provide at least two (2) of the following identifiers:
• Name of the subject(s) involved
• Date and time of the incident
• Location of the incident
• Description of the incident
Crash reports are not available until five (5) working days after a report is filed with the Sheriff's Department. The fee to obtain a crash report is $5.00. Payment must either be made in cash or money order made payable to Noble County Sheriff's Department.
To obtain a crash report via the mail, your request must have at least two (2) of the identifiers as noted above. The fee to obtain a crash report via the mail is the same as stated above.
A police report may be obtained only in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The fee for a copy of a police report is $5.00. Payment must either be made with cash or money order made payable to the Noble County Sheriff's Department.
