Communications Staff

The Communications Center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by 10 full-time dispatchers, with additional shift coverage provided by approximately 9 part-time dispatchers.

For each shift, two dispatchers have the responsibility of answering all emergency and non-emergency business calls directed to the Sheriff's Department.

In addition, radio communications are handled for the Sheriff's Department, five other police agencies, seven fire departments, and the County Probation Department including the Welfare Office and County Highway Department after hours.
